Khajur aur kishmish ki chutney kaju ke sath...& give away


Ingredients
Khajur (Dates) - 1 Cup (chopped)
Kishmish (Raisins) - 1/2 Cup 
Kaju (Cashew nuts) - 2 tbsp (Chopped)
Tamarind Pulp - 3 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 Cup (can be substituted by Brown Sugar) 
Ginger - 1/2 inch (sliced)
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp (Cumin seeds roasted and powdered)
Black Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp (can adjust as per ur taste)
Black Cardamom - 2 
Salt - 1/4 tsp 
Water - 3/4 cup (if need a water consistency can increase up to 1 & 1/2 cup)

Procedure
  1. Soak the Kishmish for 1 hour.
  2. Remove the shell of the black cardamom and crush only the seeds.
  3. In a pan put water, tamarind pulp, cumin powder, sugar, red chilli powder, salt, crushed black cardamom seeds, black pepper powder and boil it for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Now add chopped khajur, soaked kishmish, chopped ginger, broken kaju and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. 
  5. Mean while crush the khajur and kishmish with the other end of the laddle.
  6. Turn off the heat and let it cool to be served.

    PS: Can be kept in refrigerator for a month :)
