THINGS NEEDED BEFORE YOU START BAKING.

1. MEASURING CUPS & SPOONS:

  • 1 CUP=16TBSP=48TSP=240 ML=8FL OZ(FLOUR OUNCES)
  • 3/4 CUP=12TBSP=36TSP=180 ML=6FL OZ
  • 2/3 CUP=11TBSP=32TSP=160 ML=5FL OZ
  • 1/2 CUP=8TBSP=24TSP=120ML=4FL OZ
  • 1/3 CUP=5TBSP=16 TSP=80 ML=3FL OZ
  • 1/4 CUP=4TBSP=12TSP=60ML=2FL OZ
  • 1TBSP(TABLE SPOON)=15 ML
  • 1 TSP(TEA SPOON)=5 ML
2. BAKING MOULDS:

  • SILICON MOULDS:Can be used in refrigerator, microwave,convection.
  • GLASS WARE:Can be used in refrigerator, microwave,convection & grill.
  • ALUMINIUM MOULDS: Can be used in refrigerator,convection & grill.

Brown Rice Kheer / Brown Rice Pudding


Brown Rice have more benefits than white rice. This whole grain have lots of vitamins intact. It also promotes weight loss as it's a rich source of fiber.

Jaggery on the other part also have lot of benefits in it. It's a natural sweetener with nutrients in it. It aids digestion, cleans respiratory tract, lungs, food pipe, stomach and intestine.

Brown rice kheer / Brown rice pudding is full of nutrients which we cannot miss having it.

Ingredients

Brown Rice - 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 150 gm(grated)
Full cream milk - 1 litre
Green Elaichi/Cardamom - 3
Saffron - few strands
Cashew - 10-12
Almonds - 10-12
Ghee - 2 tbsp


Procedure

1. Soak brown rice with a cup of water for 1 hour and drain the excess water.
2. In a heavy bottomed pan boil the milk with Cardamom.
3. Meanwhile coarsely grind the strained rice for about 30-40 seconds.
4. Pour the rice to the boiling milk and let it cook for about 30-40 minutes.
5. Soak the saffron with 2 tbsp of milk and keep aside.
6. Keep mixing the rice and scrap from the sides of the pan to avoid burning.
7. Take ghee in a tadka pan and roast the chopped nuts.
8. Add the roasted nuts into the kheer & save some for platting.
9. Cool and serve.

Bounty Balls

Hello friends, I am back after ages... How are you all doing! I was quite busy with my kid and could hardly find time for myself. There are lots of recipes to be published all half done and are in draft. I hope I publish it soon. ☺
I have another announcement for you all. I  going to do all videos of the recipes and publish it in YouTube. Please do not forget to subscribe my Chanel "Woks & Bows" and give your valuable comments to it. This channel will have DiY's and recipes from my kitchen. Ingredients

Condensed milk -200 ml
Coconut powder - 200 gms
Cooking chocolate - 200 gms

Procedure

1. In a bowl mix coconut powder and condensed milk.
2. Keep it in refrigerator for about 10 minutes, to make it tight so that its easy to handle.
3. Now makes ball out of the mixture.
4. Place the balls over the parchment paper in a plate and keep it in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes.
5. Meanwhile using double boiler process melt the cooking chocolate.
6. Now take the balls and dip in the melted chocolate. Sprinkle little coconut powder on top of it.
7. Keep the chocolate coated balls in the refrigerator for another 5 minutes. Its ready to serve.
8. Or keep in the refrigerator till served.
