Brown Rice have more benefits than white rice. This whole grain have lots of vitamins intact. It also promotes weight loss as it's a rich source of fiber.
Jaggery on the other part also have lot of benefits in it. It's a natural sweetener with nutrients in it. It aids digestion, cleans respiratory tract, lungs, food pipe, stomach and intestine.
Brown rice kheer / Brown rice pudding is full of nutrients which we cannot miss having it.
Ingredients
Brown Rice - 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 150 gm(grated)
Full cream milk - 1 litre Green Elaichi/Cardamom - 3
Saffron - few strands
Cashew - 10-12
Almonds - 10-12
Ghee - 2 tbsp

Procedure
1. Soak brown rice with a cup of water for 1 hour and drain the excess water.
2. In a heavy bottomed pan boil the milk with Cardamom.
3. Meanwhile coarsely grind the strained rice for about 30-40 seconds.
4. Pour the rice to the boiling milk and let it cook for about 30-40 minutes.
5. Soak the saffron with 2 tbsp of milk and keep aside.
6. Keep mixing the rice and scrap from the sides of the pan to avoid burning.
7. Take ghee in a tadka pan and roast the chopped nuts.
8. Add the roasted nuts into the kheer & save some for platting.
9. Cool and serve.
